As of November 2020, we are officially offering pre and post loss marine cargo surveying in the USA utilising our newly formed survey network. We say “new” but we have been working with some of the members of the network for a number of years and already carry out surveys for both our London/UK and International client base.

This new product will be headed up by Robert Jull (who has extensive and varied claims, survey and risk management experience in the US) who, when the appointment warrants it, will travel to the US to undertake surveys personally once safe to do so. In the meantime, Robert will be co-ordinating instructions using trusted local independent surveyors and partners in the U.S and will be principally responsible for this area of the business.

We have regional hubs in the following locations: East Coast (New York/New Jersey), South West (Houston), Mid-West (Chicago & Detroit) and West Coast (California) and have very good coverage in other States and territories in Northern America including Canada.

Richard Grassick, Co-Founder, is delighted by this latest addition to the suite of services EC3 Marine are already offering:

“We felt for a long time we could offer the Lloyd’s market and indeed our other clients, something different in terms of service, quality and cost for surveys in the US especially, the one point of contact and control from London and the provision of a Report that provides the facts and information a marine cargo adjuster/handler will need to be able to consider a claim. We want to add value not just another reporting line. Robert has a great reputation in the market both here and abroad and the respect of the people who he has worked with in the US during and since the demise of the old L&J offices and network in the US some of which are part of this exciting new venture.”
