“I am delighted to announce that Andrew Heathcote has joined the EC3 Marine team in our London office as of October 2022.
Previously the head of the Lloyd’s Agency in South Africa, Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience in Surveys, Claims and Hull & Machinery and indeed running a successful surveying company for many years. We will certainly be utilising his extensive knowledge and adding his network of surveyors throughout the African continent and indeed globally to compliment ours. Amongst other things, Andrew will be heading up our new Hull & Machinery offering to add to the suite of services EC3 Marine already provide and is excited to work more closely in the London market as well as continuing serving his client base in the Far East, Scandinavia and Europe.
Andrew has recently relocated to the UK with his wife and two children (and not forgetting their labrador Lola) and is having to quickly get used to the British climate as well as commuter travel. Andrew is a keen golfer, as well as an experienced yachtsman, although, he tells me he prefers not to mix business with pleasure by carrying out small craft surveys!
Before he officially starts today, Andrew has already hit the ground running with the handling of two new instructions!
